Why we should choose you as an HEFY Trip Leader? (please respond in 500 characters or less, approx. 250 words)

God blessed me with a gift to connect with His children and care for them.

In a world that is suffocated by likes, swipe rights, and retweets there is a growing need for voices that spread, support, and share real goodness. A goodness that comes from knowing who we really are, who God sees and not who the handheld device portrays.

God created us for connection to each other.

I think being an HEFY trip leader requires an ability to infuse the builders, the people of the community, and all helpers with the love of God. This tender yet powerful love is becoming increasingly more difficult to feel because of the myriad of things competing for our attention and affection. I’ve chosen to remove myself from the social media world because of the affect it was having on my view of myself and others around me. Rid of those distractions I’ve been able to see, love, and interact with people in a healthier way.

The opportunity to be considered as a potential candidate has made me thankful and excited for the future. I hope to be able to share my love of God and His goodness with the trip affiliates and feel of their love and goodness as well. When it’s all said and done I believe the best way to share love and goodness is to share Goodness Himself.
