off the path
if most answer yes he’ll likely say no then smile and wink to subtly show the answer is not always found in the crowd. sometimes the mass completely enshrouds what’s hidden to all, but a few trav’ling seekers, because it wasn’t played on Jerusalem’s speakers. – his job is to teach but that wasn’t his plan and his vow against such was likely in crayon. often you’ll think he must be a child as his laughter erupts after pants are defiled. finding his peace he’ll finish the speech, “the kingdom’s for kids. so don’t overreach.” – actions and words work to echo each other. a pattern he learned from his older brother. he’ll give you time he doesn’t even have for crying out loud this man’s also a dad to six littles who may or may not see that their life never is nor will be free. – but neither was his, or yours, or mine without Him as payment we’d still be with swine and searching for words to simply convey it’s wasted and gone, “i have nothing to pay.” but He’s not after money all He wants is your heart “love God and love people” that’s the end and the start – they share the same message, he and his Brother. smile, listen, love and be nice to each other. in each of their stories it’s rarely in crowds when help from above is fully endowed. follow the angels who endlessly sing to find your Redeemer, Savior, and King. – that’s how i found Him— off the path in a manger. introduced as old friends, no longer as strangers.
